Q. How do I maintain the quality of my apparel?

A. Apparel should be only washed with like colors. You can certainly machine wash the garments in warm water that is around 104°F/40°C. Keep in mind that you should only use non-chlorine bleach if necessary and do not iron the decorated (printed) areas. If the garments require dry-cleaning, you can use any solvent except the trichloroethylene. Tumble-dry these garments on medium.

 

Q. What printing process do you use?

Standard apparel is printed via the DTG (Direct To Garment) process.

Mugs are created through a process called dye sublimation. A transfer paper is printed with ink that will release from the paper under the right amount of heat and pressure.

Accessory artwork is inkjet printed, using special dye-sublimation inks, transfer paper and non-toxic coatings.


Q. What's that smell?

A.
Upon arrival, you may smell a scent similar to vinegar. This is the smell of our ink. NO WORRIES! This will go away after the first wash! 

Q. Are your products eco-friendly?


A.
All our shipping products are either 100% recyclable or fully biodegradable. Bubble wraps are made from a minimum of 15% recycled plastic and 10% post-consumer content. Our kraft tubes are made from 70-100% post-consumer recycled content and 0-30% secondary recycled content.


Q. What inks are you using for printing apparel?

A. Our apparel is created with the latest in garment printing technology. In addition, our inks are water based and eco-friendly. This makes the feel much softer than traditional screen printed shirts, but just as durable.
We’re using CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) compliant inks, which are required when printing on children's wear 12 and below.


Q. How long before I receive my product?

A. General shipping time frames within the U.S. are 5-10 business days. International 10-17 business days. Shipping times may vary during peak seasons and select products are subject to vary.

Q. How can I lower my shipping cost? 

A. We recommend ordering apparel together, accessories together, and doormats alone. Please view the shipping policy here to see the breakdown.

Example: If you order a doormat with a t-shirt, your shipping cost will be higher; if you order the doormat individually in a separate order, your shipping will be lower.  


Q. What if I have an issue with a product I received?

Q. Do you ship internationally?

 Yes! Currently Unique Speaks only ships within the United States through our website, but we are able to ship internationally, just send a message through our Contact Us Form or email us directly at info@uniquespeaks.com with the title "International Order Request" and we will provide an individualized invoice with shipping information for your location.
